They undertake frequent Acts of Leadership such as presenting to their peers and communities, and speaking to the media or at large scale public events. Reef Restoration & Awareness Manager

Wilson Hazelman serves as the Reef Restoration and Awareness Manager at Coral Gardeners Fiji Branch, with a bachelor's degree in environmental science and half a decade in ocean conservation. Wilson is driven by a profound commitment to nature and community service.

Proficient in observational and adaptive science methods, Wilson's practical approach to fieldwork is central to the team's success. He aims to blend traditional wisdom with modern science and technology to advance reef conservation. . Coral Gardeners Fiji Branch started in August 2023 and under Wilson's leadership, the restoration team has been able to accomplish 11, 556 corals out planted and 10, 900 corals in nurseries for 2023. A versatile individual, Wilson's commitment to environmental stewardship and academic pursuits showcases a holistic approach to conservation in island and ocean ecosystems. He now leads his enthusiastic team of young ocean professionals in the field on their quest to preserve coral reefs under the Coral Gardeners banner and hopes to inspire all to take action, join the movement and save coral reefs.
