24 Hours of Reality

24 Hours of Reality is unique, live, global and round the clock broadcast to amplify the voices of people around the world and allow viewers access to the best climate science, solutions, and stories of progress in the climate fight.

Each year, 24 Hours of Reality brings the world together for one full day to talk about the reality of the climate crisis and how we can solve it. Hosted by former US Vice President Al Gore, the broadcast event travels around the world, each hour, highlighting the inspiring stories of climate activism from 24 countries from six regions, on how the crisis is transforming every region of our planet and how citizens from New York to New Delhi are pushing breakthroughs in clean energy, low carbon growth, and other areas opening the door to a sustainable future for us all.

24 HOURS OF REALITY: ON THE GROUND AT COP 28

In 2023, historic heatwaves, fires, and floods brought the climate crisis home to all of us.

On December 7, our 24 Hours of Reality media event brought audiences worldwide to the heart of the global response and the UN’s COP 28 climate summit in Dubai.

This was a chance to hear from negotiators inside talks to phase out fossil fuels and stop global warming – as well as youth voices, Indigenous leaders, and advocates fighting for our future.

By harnessing the power of storytelling and social media, collectively, Saving Tuvalu are calling other youth and the peoples of the world in elevating the country's plight into a global cause.
