Jarren Nylund

Doctoral Researcher, Net Zero Observatory, The University of Queensland

Jarren is a social and environmental psychology researcher, climate campaigner, and Climate Reality Leader. He is currently a Doctoral Researcher with the Net Zero Observatory at The University of Queensland, where his research examines public perceptions of climate activism and the factors that influence support for collective action, social movements, and social change.

Prior to commencing his doctoral research, Jarren spent more than a decade working on climate campaigns with organisations such as Greenpeace, Friends of the Earth, and Market Forces. He has contributed to campaign strategy, communications, creative design, and grassroots organising, and has worked alongside many of Australia's leading climate advocacy organisations.
