OUR COMMUNITY OF PRACTICE
Our Community of Practice (CoP) is a platform for gathering, planning, strategising, and organising to harness the agency and social strengths of climate leaders.
The Climate Reality Project Australia, Aotearoa, and Pacific is committed to co-developing pathways that empower Climate Reality Leaders and their communities to drive ambitious climate action at every level. Together, we aim to celebrate our region's unique perspectives and interests while creating meaningful connections that inspire progress and lasting impact.

WHAT DOES A COMMUNITY OF PRACTICE MEAN FOR US? |
A Community of Practice means prioritising the voices of those on the front lines of the climate crisis to explore what it takes to build and sustain healthy communities. Our CoP involves fostering impactful and intimate conversations focused on solutions and engaging with community leaders and experts in climate policy, health, and environmental justice initiatives. This community advocates for climate objectives at local, community, and national levels, while encouraging and supporting one another through a strong collective. Ultimately, we aim to co-create solutions with communities that generate local impact and have the potential to be scaled for broader change.

KITCHEN TABLE CONVERSATION TESTIMONIALS
ANDREW BESTClimate Reality Leader - NSW, Australia"The KTC materials sent to me were really useful and made the meeting flow well. I had about 50% of my church congregation stay for the meeting and it was good to hear what concerned them most about climate change. It was great to do a community listening activity. The highlight for me was the resolve of the group to have a bipartisan approach from both sides of politics. Also the resolve of the group to have both sides of politics work beyond election cycles and to elevate the subject of climate change back to where it was ten years ago." |
