In June 2019, The Climate Reality Project Australia & Pacific, welcomed over 880 people to Brisbane to engage in an active dialogue on climate change and become personally inspired by former US Vice President Al Gore.
Climate Reality welcomed participants from every state and territory in Australia, over 40 from New Zealand, 20 from Pacific nations and countries further afield from India to Haiti, all up representing over 15 countries.

Our Climate Reality Leaders
Our 2000+ local Climate Reality Leaders represent a diverse range of communities, sectors and skillsets. They undertake frequent Acts of Leadership such as presenting to their peers and communities, and speaking to the media or at large scale public events.

This strategic engagement program has strengthened public discussion and applied research translation on international climate negotiations issue.
Case studies of our Leaders
With the support of the Lord Mayor’s Charitable Foundation, our branch launched a small grants program to kickstart and pilot initiatives, providing learnings for Climate Reality Leaders near and far.
