Climate Reality Project At COP29

Held November 11–22, the UN’s COP 29 climate summit in Baku, Azerbaijan, brought nearly 200 countries together to advance the global fight against climate change.

Climate Reality was on the ground in Baku, pushing for the acceleration of action this decade to phase out fossil fuels; a global finance goal to support a just transition worldwide; ambitious national climate action plans to keep 1.5 degrees alive and strategic reforms to make the COP process fit for purpose.

Climate Reality At COP28

COP28 in the UAE (November 30 – December 12, 2023) presented a unique opportunity to act together for strong climate action in this region. This explainer will help you to champion climate policy post COP28.

At COP 28 we asked that world leaders of this region, most notably Australia and Aotearoa (New Zealand), take immediate actions to protect and safeguard life for current and future generations.

COP26 Blue Pacific to Glasgow

In 2021 we hosted an online forum for Pacific voices to be heard in Australia, New Zealand, the Pacific—and the world—for ambitious climate commitments at the Glasgow COP26 climate negotiation.

The forum featured former U.S Vice President, Hon Al Gore; Secretary General of the Pacific Islands Forum, Hon Henry Puna; Fiji Prime Minister and Chair of the Pacific Islands Forum, Hon Frank Bainimarama; and other prominent government and civil society leaders.
