It was 24 Presenters, in 24 Time Zones, 13 Languages delivering 1 Message. 24 Hours of Reality was a worldwide event to broadcast the reality of the climate crisis, based on a new slideshow developed by Al Gore. Around the globe, a presentation occurred every hour, for 24 hours, in every time zone. People helped connect the dots between recent extreme weather events - including floods, droughts and storms; and the manmade pollution that is changing our climate. The event kicked off in Mexico 10am Australian Eastern Standard time on Thursday 15 September. The Australian leg saw Climate Presenter Vanessa Morris team up with ACF CEO Don Henry to deliver a localised iteration of the science, impacts and solutions to climate change.
If you missed it, you can find a video of each of the presentations around the globe at climaterealityproject.org
